Abstract:
[Problem] The present invention pertains to a torsional vibration reduction device that uses a coil spring, and can provide desired torsional vibration reduction performance by reducing hysteresis torque caused by sliding of a coil spring 50, without requiring additional components and restrictions in terms of the layout. A coil spring 50 is accommodated in an input-member-side coil spring receiving part 44 and an output-member-side coil spring receiving part 48. The input-member-side coil spring receiving part 44 has normal and reverse guide parts 44-1a and 44-1b respectively between normal and reverse spring seats 44a and 44b, and the output-member-side coil spring receiving part 48 has normal and reverse guide parts 48-1a and 48-1b respectively between normal and reverse spring seats 48a and 48b. During normal and reverse rotation displacement due to the centrifugal force of the coil spring 50 is received by the guide parts 44-1a, 48-1b and 44-1b, 48-1a, and the vertical-component force of the elastic force is reduced; therefore, sliding resistance can be reduced accordingly, hysteresis torque can be reduced, additional components can be rendered unnecessary, and restrictions on the installation position of the coil spring can be eliminated.
