Abstract:
Total heat exchange element (10) having partition members (1,1) compounded
with a water-soluble moisture absorbent agent which are members for partitioning
of first and second laminar airflow channels (4,5) superimposed one upon the
other; spacing members (2,2) defining the above first and second laminar airflow
channels (4,5) and fixing the space between partition members (1,1); and adhesive
(3) for bonding of the partition members (1,1) and the spacing members (2,2) to
each other, characterized in that the adhesive (3) is an aqueous solvent base
adhesive impregnated with a water-soluble moisture absorbent agent. Each of
the partition members (1,1) and spacing members (2,2) consists of a liquid absorbent
material capable of absorbing water and solutes thereof.
