Abstract:
A total heat exchange element comprising: a plurality of partitions (1) arranged facing one another; and a spacer (2) for maintaining an interval between the partitions (1) and forming a flow path between the partitions. The spacer (2) has a laminate structure wherein a nonwoven fabric base material layer having a nonwoven fabric as a base material is laminated on both surfaces of a paper layer. A first nonwoven fabric base material layer (221), which is the nonwoven fabric base material layer of the spacer (2) laminated on one surface of the paper layer, and the partition facing the first nonwoven fabric base material layer (221), are joined to each other. A second nonwoven fabric base material layer (222), which is the nonwoven fabric base material layer of the spacer (2) laminated on the other surface of the paper layer, and the partition facing the second nonwoven fabric base material layer (222), are joined to each other. As a result of having this configuration the total heat exchange element achieves improved humidity exchange efficiency.
