Abstract:
The present invention relates to an air cooling apparatus. Particularly to an evaporative air cooler with are touch control panel and voice assist function, which applied on an operation panel of an evaporative air cooler. The touch control panel comprises a transparent plastic outer panel, plastic inner control panel casing and plastic control panel sticker for icon and LED light arranged at the back of the transparent control panel and PCB board for controlling the LED and air cooler function. Control panel sticker superimposed on a surface of inner control panel casing. The control panel sticker & inner control panel casing having a plurality of spaced apart apertures arranged in a preselected pattern therein. The control panel sticker have contacts on their inner surface paired with spring which has fixed contacts on PCB whereby a touch on the outer cover sensing chip give signal to MCU and the cooler function selected and energize the sound associated therewith. The capacitance will change and this change will be noticed by sensing chip and the Fig.: 2

Claims:
1) Touch control panel with voice assist to be applied in an evaporative air cooler, wherein said touch control panel and the voice assist provisions comprises of an outer control panel cover 19, control panel icon sticker 20, inner control panel casing 21, LED light 18, spring 17, and for carrying and drivingly PCB 15, wherein said control panel icon sticker 20 is attached to the inner surface of the corresponding inner control panel casing 21 area; the control panel icon sticker 20 & inner control panel casing 21 having a plurality of spaced apart apertures arranged in a preselected pattern therein.

2) Touch control panel with voice assist to be applied in an evaporative air cooler, as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the control panel icon sticker 20 have contacts on their inner surface paired with spring 17 which has fixed contacts on PCB 15 whereby a touch on the outer cover the capacitance will change and this change will be noticed by sensing chip and the sensing chip give signal to MCU and the cooler function selected and energize the sound associated therewith.

3) Touch control panel with voice assist to be applied in an evaporative air cooler, as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said touch control panel is provisioned with an integrated sound system with different note such that for each function of touch control panel individualized sound response is generated by the said air cooler.

4) Touch control panel with voice assist to be applied in an evaporative air cooler, as claimed in claim 1, wherein control panel assembly 14 comprises a control panel icon sticker 20, control panel icon sticker 20 is etched with spring 17, spring 17 by line connected to the PCB 15. 5) Touch control panel with voice assist to be applied in an evaporative air cooler, as claimed in claim 1, wherein control panel icon sticker 20 connecting the spring 17 mounted on the PCB 15.

6) Touch control panel with voice assist to be applied in an evaporative air cooler, as claimed in claim 1 to 5, wherein the touch control panel assembly 14 apparatus of an evaporative air cooler, wherein: the control panel icon sticker 20 on the spring 17 inner control panel casing 21, Spring 17 is attached to the PCB 15.

7) Touch control panel with voice assist to be applied in an evaporative air cooler, as claimed in claim 1 to 6, a touch control panel assembly 14 comprising, an outer control panel cover 19 and inner control panel casing 21, said inner control panel casing 21 & control panel icon sticker 20 having a plurality of spaced apart apertures arranged in a preselected pattern, said inner control panel casing 21 having a plurality of fixed electrical contacts thereon extending forwardly therefrom in axial alignment with each of said apertures, an intermediate control panel icon sticker 20 sandwiched between said outer control panel cover 19 and inner control panel casing 21, said inner control panel casing 21 being formed with a round cut out similar in shape to said spring 17, said control panel icon sticker 20 having a function icon on surface for the user's side at which defining an evaporative cooler function, a musical tone generator circuit including a speaker positioned in said touch control panel assembly 14, said fixed spring 17fixed on PCB 15, each said spring 17 being operative for selective deflection of its contact into engagement with its associated single fixed contact in response to a preselected deflecting force to its associated control panel icon sticker 20, each spring 17 being operative when closed to select a predetermined resistive value in said tone generator PCB 15 to generate a frequency for driving said speaker 16 producing a predetermined audible tone, whereby a distinguishable audible musical tone is obtained for each spring 17 to assure the user of the actuation of the preselected appliance function.

TOUCH CONTROL PANEL

FIELD OF THE INVENTION:

The present invention relates to a touch control panel with voice assist to be applied in an evaporative air cooler, wherein said touch control panel is provisioned with an integrated sound system with different note such that for each function of touch control panel individualized sound response is generated by the said air cooler.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION:

Evaporative air cooler, apart from its core mechanical body-assembly generally comprises of certain control panel or the function-control board in a particular position on its body. An user, while using the said evaporative air-cooler, access the said control panel or the function-control board and through the available switches or regulators therein, mechanically operates one or another function of said air-cooler.

Evaporative air-coolers which are generally available in public are generally characterized by the presence of key input and display aspects of evaporative air cooler. Because of the structural characteristics of the evaporative air cooler frequently used mechanical switches, which may lead to certain drawbacks to the control mechanism of the air-coolers. The mechanical switches might generate noise during key operations. It may have low self-life and may easily get damaged during mechanical operations. Wear and tear applied to mechanical stitches on the control-panel and environmental factors therein such as moisture, dirt, corrosion etc. may also affect the normal life and functioning of the conventional mechanical control panel of an evaporative air-cooler.

l Conventional operating/control-panel in an evaporative air-cooler generally comprises of mechanical key structures in its assembly, with repeated or multiple parts therein with high accuracy requirements. In most of the current evaporative air coolers, control panel need additional light arrangement at night for its operation or at dark conditions.

Therefore, to address all such above mentioned drawbacks of conventional evaporative air-coolers the, instant invention is so carried out towards proposing a touch panel with the voice assist thereof to be applied in an evaporative air-cooler and its application thereof. Said newly designed and dedicated touch control panel with voice assist is well capable of solving the above mentioned problems in the mechanical switches and their prior applications in the evaporative air-coolers. OBJECT OF THE INVENTION:

The prime object of the present invention is to propose a touch control panel with voice assist to be applied in an evaporative air cooler, wherein said touch control panel is provisioned with an integrated sound system with different note such that for each function of touch control panel individualized sound response is generated by the said air cooler.

Another prime object of the present invention is to propose an air cooler with a touch control panel with voice assist for easy command and control over the operations and various functions of the said evaporative coolers, particularly without really operating any mechanical component of the said control panel of said evaporative air-cooler.

Further object of the invention is to ensure an evaporative air cooler operation towards selecting specific functions of said air cooler, wherein said operations are selected on the proposed touch control- panel and wherein said touch control-panel, along with its multiple components therein, are coordinated with the sound system whereby a different sound is audible for each function selected on said control panel by the operator to reinforce the operator's assurance of said touch control-panel actuation.

It is another object of the present invention to provide an evaporative air cooler with touch control panel and voice assist function therein, wherein said touch control panel comprises a transparent plastic outer panel, plastic inner control panel casing and plastic control panel icon sticker and LED light arranged at the back of the transparent panel and PCB board for controlling the LED and air cooler function.

It is another object of the invention to propose an evaporative air cooler with touch control panel and voice assist function therein, wherein the control panel sticker in the said touch control panel is superimposed on a surface of inner control panel casing, wherein the control panel sticker & inner control panel casing having a plurality of spaced apart apertures arranged in a pre-selected pattern therein.

It is another object of the invention to propose an evaporative air cooler with touch control panel and voice assist function therein, wherein said control panel sticker has contacts on its inner surface paired with spring which has fixed contacts on PCB whereby a touch on the outer control panel the capacitance will change and this change will be noticed by sensing chip and the sensing chip give signal to MCU and the cooler function selected and energize the sound associated therewith.

STATEMENT OF THE INVENTION:

The present invention is intended to propose a touch control panel with voice assist to be applied in an evaporative air cooler, wherein said touch control panel is provisioned with an integrated sound system with different note such that for each function of touch control panel individualized sound response is generated by the said air cooler;

And wherein said invention is further intended to propose the said evaporative air cooler with a touch control panel and voice assist therein for easy command and control over the operations and various functions of the said evaporative coolers, particularly without really operating any mechanical component of the said control panel of said evaporative air-cooler.

Said invention is also intended to ensure an evaporative air cooler operation towards selecting specific functions of said air cooler, wherein said operations are selected on the proposed touch control- panel and wherein said touch control-panel, along with its multiple components therein, are coordinated with the sound system whereby a different sound is audible for each function selected on said control panel by the operator to reinforce the operator's assurance of said touch control-panel actuation.

Said invention is further intended to provide the said evaporative air cooler with touch control panel and voice assist function therein, wherein said touch control panel comprises a transparent plastic outer panel, plastic inner control panel casing and plastic control panel icon sticker and LED light arranged at the back of the transparent panel and PCB board for controlling the LED and air cooler function; and wherein:

(a) the control panel sticker in the said touch control panel is superimposed on a surface of inner control panel casing;

(b) the control panel sticker and inner control panel casing, having a plurality of spaced apart apertures, are arranged in a preselected pattern therein;

(c) said control panel sticker has contacts on its inner surface paired with spring which has fixed contacts on PCB whereby a touch on the outer control panel the capacitance will change and this change will be noticed by sensing chip and the sensing chip give signal to MCU and the cooler function selected and energize the sound associated therewith.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION: The following presents a simplified summary of the disclosure in order to provide a basic understanding to the reader. This summary is not an extensive overview of the disclosure and it does not identify key/ critical elements of the invention or delineate the scope of the invention. Its sole purpose is to present some concepts disclosed herein in a simplified form as a prelude to the more detailed description that is presented later.

A more complete appreciation of the present invention and the scope thereof can be obtained from the accompanying schematic drawings which are briefly summarized below and the following detailed description of the presently preferred embodiments.

The embodiment of the present invention contemplates an evaporative air cooler having a housing (body) including top panel, side panels, back panel, front panel, bottom panel, water tank, a cooler pad assembly adjacent to at least one of the side panels of the said housing, and a fan (axial or centrifugal or cross-flow) which in use draws air through said cooler pad assembly, and a motor to operate said fan (axial or centrifugal or cross-flow) .

The improvements in the said evaporative air-cooler include a touch control panel with voice assist provisions therein. The control panel assembly is optionally located on the front panel/ back panel or any location on an evaporative air cooler body.

Said touch control panel comprises a transparent plastic outer panel, plastic inner control panel casing and plastic control panel icon sticker and LED light arranged at the back of the transparent panel and PCB board for controlling the LED and air cooler function. The control panel sticker in the said touch control panel is superimposed on a surface of inner control panel casing, wherein the control panel sticker & inner control panel casing having a plurality of spaced apart apertures arranged in a pre-selected pattern therein. Said control panel sticker has contacts on its inner surface paired with spring which has fixed contacts on PCB whereby a touch on the outer control panel the capacitance will change and this change will be noticed by sensing chip and the sensing chip give signal to MCU and the cooler function selected and energize the sound associated therewith.

In one preferred embodiment of the present invention contemplates an evaporative air cooler touch control panel with LED light, which is easy to operate. New touch button switches or the touch control panel are actually touch sensing buttons and when compared to conventional control switches, are more responsive, have low failure rate, more safe and long lasting and less corrosion sensitive mainly due to the use of capacitive sensing buttons therein, no holes on the said touch control panel, a more holistic and more beautiful appearance of the same. The air cooler described herein below is designed to be used for the convenient cooling of any room or similarly enclosed or open space such as house, office, shop, warehouse, manufacturing location, process industry, assembly hall, restaurant etc. This is achieved by providing a specially designed touch control panel with voice assist, which can be readily produced and accurately located in the air cooler body. In addition, this simplifies the assembly procedure.

FIG. 1 is a perspective view of an evaporative air cooler in its assembled form in accordance with an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure;

FIG. 2 is an exploded view of the air-cooler illustrating the main components of the proposed touch control panel and its voice assist provisions thereof, in accordance with an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure. DETAILED DESCRIPTION:

It is to be understood that the present disclosure is not limited in its application to the details of construction and the arrangement of components set forth in the following description or illustrated in the drawings. The present disclosure is capable of other embodiments and of being practiced or of being carried out in various ways. Also, it is to be understood that the phraseology and terminology used herein is for the purpose of description and should not be regarded as limiting.

The use of "including", "comprising" or "having" and variations thereof herein is meant to encompass the items listed thereafter and equivalents thereof as well as additional items. The terms "a" and "an" herein do not denote a limitation of quantity, but rather denote the presence of at least one of the referenced item. Further, the use of terms "first", "second", and "third", and the like, herein do not denote any order, quantity, or importance, but rather are used to distinguish one element from another.

In order to more clearly and fully describe the invention, an embodiment is described in detail here below with reference to the drawings in which: Figure 1 is a perspective view of the air cooler in its assembled form; Figure 2 is an exploded view of the cooler illustrating the main component parts thereof.

In one most preferred embodiment, an evaporative air cooler 10 comprises an evaporative air cooler body 1 1 which itself comprises front body panel 12, back body panel 13, control panel assembly 14, base tank 22 and electronic PCB 15. Adjacent the front body panel 12, a control panel assembly 14 is located, comprising a electronic PCB 15, speaker 16 connected with PCB 15, outer control panel cover 19, Control panel icon sticker 20, inner control panel casing 21, PCB 15 which comprising spring 17 and LED light 18 mounted on PCB 15; wherein components of said control panel assembly 14 is so arranged to provide touch control panel with voice assist.

The preferred embodiment as illustrated in drawings 1 and 2 comprises the touch control panel assembly 14, preferably fixed on front panel 12 or back panel 13 with the screw and it can also fixed with other fixing arrangement like snap fit, sliding etc. The fixing arrangement of said touch control panel on the body of said evaporation air-cooler can optionally be installed anywhere on the said air cooler body 1 1. The speaker 16 power cord connected to the PCB 15 of an evaporative air cooler.

The utility model can apply to wall mounted air cooler, also apply to windows mounted air cooler and floor type air cooler.

A brief consideration of the above embodiment will indicate that the invention is extremely simple. The invention provides an evaporative air cooler the efficiency of which is much higher than that of prior art units. Although the field of the invention has been described herein with limited reference to specific embodiments, this description is not meant to be construed in a limiting sense. Various modifications of the disclosed embodiments, as well as alternate embodiments of the invention, will become apparent to persons skilled in the art upon reference to the description of the invention. It is therefore contemplated that such modifications can be made without departing from the spirit or scope of the present invention as defined.
