Abstract:
Provided in the present application are a touch-control system control method and an electronic device. The method comprises: in an activated mode, a touch-control chip controlling a touch-control panel to perform two-dimensional data scanning at a first frequency, so as to obtain first scanning data, wherein the first scanning data is used for detecting a touch-control position; the touch-control chip sending the first scanning data to a host at the first frequency; when the host determines, according to the first scanning data, that there is no valid touch signal being detected on a screen of an electronic device, switching to an asynchronous low-power-consumption mode, and sending to the touch-control chip a first command for switching to the asynchronous low-power-consumption mode; and the touch-control chip switching to the asynchronous low-power-consumption mode according to the first command, and in the asynchronous low-power-consumption mode, the touch-control chip controlling the touch-control panel to perform two-dimensional data scanning at the first frequency, so as to obtain second scanning data, and sending the second scanning data to the host at a second frequency, wherein the second frequency is less than the first frequency, and the second scanning data is used for detecting whether there is a conductor approaching. In this way, the power consumption of a host can be reduced, thereby reducing the overall power consumption of an electronic device.
