Abstract:
The present invention relates to a touch detection method and to a touch detection device. In one embodiment of the present invention, the touch detection device comprises: a sensor pad for outputting a signal on being in the touched state, by responding to an alternating voltage in a floating state after having been charged with an electrical charge; a drive electrostatic capacity adjustment unit for adjusting the drive electrostatic capacity formed between the sensor pad and an alternating-voltage-applying unit which applies the alternating voltage; and a level-shift detection unit for acquiring a touch signal on the basis of the difference between a voltage fluctuation portion of the sensor pad in accordance with the alternating voltage when touch has not occurred and a voltage fluctuation portion of the sensor pad in accordance with the alternating voltage when touch has occurred. Here, the drive electrostatic capacity adjustment unit can connect the sensor pad and the alternating-voltage-applying unit by selecting at least one of a plurality of drive electrostatic capacities.
