Abstract:
According to the present invention, a touch input device for detecting a touch position and a touch pressure comprises: a display module including a first layer formed of glass or plastic and a second layer disposed at a lower part of the first layer and formed of glass or plastic; a plurality of touch electrodes, which are formed inside the display module and are for detecting a touch position and a touch pressure; and a reference electrode disposed so as to be spaced apart from the touch electrode, wherein a driving signal is applied to the touch electrode, a touch position is detected by a sensing signal received from the touch electrode, an electrical signal varying according to a capacitance between the touch electrode and the reference electrode is detected from the touch electrode, the capacitance varies according to a change in a distance between the touch electrode and the reference electrode, the distance between the touch electrode and the reference electrode varies according to bending of the display module, and a touch pressure can be detected on the basis of the capacitance.
