Abstract:
According to an embodiment of the present invention, a touch input device capable of detecting the force of a touch comprises a display panel having a strain gauge directly formed therein, and detects the force of a touch on the basis of a change in resistance value of the strain gauge, wherein the display panel comprises: a first substrate layer; a second substrate layer arranged on the lower part of the first substrate layer; and a liquid crystal layer or an organic layer arranged between the first substrate layer and the second substrate layer, and the strain gauge can be formed on the lower surface of the second substrate layer.
