Abstract:
A touch panel and a conductive sheet for a touch panel are provided which make it possible to suppress false detection even when using a member having a tip thinner than a finger to perform touch detection. This touch panel has a first electrode layer located on a first surface of a transparent insulating member, and a second electrode layer located on a second surface of the transparent insulating member. Defining A1 as the total area on the first electrode layer of a first non-connection wire in the first electrode, B1 as the total area of a first electrode wire in the first electrode, and C1 as the occupancy ratio of the first non-connection wire in the first electrode, it holds that C1=A1/(A1+B1); defining A2 as the total area on the second electrode layer of a second non-connection wire in a second electrode, B2 as the total area of a second electrode wire in the second electrode, and C2 as the occupancy ratio of the second non-connection wire in the second electrode, it holds that C2=A2/(A2+B2); and, there is at least one first electrode and at least one second electrode for which it holds that C2 < C1.
