Abstract:
A touch panel device (1) according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a touch panel (11); a body portion (12) that has a support surface (121) which supports the touch panel (11), and that holds the touch panel (11) supported by the support surface (121); a metal plate component (14) that is provided to the back side of the support surface (121) and that absorbs static electricity that enters from the surface of the touch panel (11). The body portion (12) has: a through hole (123) that passes from the support surface (121) to a region which is on the back side of the support surface (121) and which is opposite from the metal plate component (14); and a rib (124) that is formed adjacently to the through hole (123) on the support surface (121) and integrally with the body portion (12).
