Abstract:
This touch panel comprises an infrared ray transmission unit, an infrared ray reception unit that receives an infrared ray transmitted from the infrared ray transmission unit, and a control unit that detects a touched part on the basis of the fact that the infrared ray reception unit does not receive the infrared ray, wherein the control unit includes an error determination unit that determines whether or not an error occurs in the detection of the touched part, and an error notification unit that transmits an error notification signal indicating that an error has occurred, when the error determination unit determines that an error has occurred.
