Abstract:
Provided is a large-area electrostatic capacitance type touch panel that includes a drive electrode group (220) and a detection electrode group (230) formed on a substrate (210). The touch panel further includes a touch panel driving circuit (250) in a frame area adjacent to a touch panel area where the drive electrode group (220) and the detection electrode group (230) are formed. The touch panel driving circuit (250) is formed with TFTs of wide band gap oxide semiconductors so that the touch panel driving circuit is formed in a small area. Thus, the narrow frame-type touch panel is formed.
