Abstract:
A touch panel parent substrate and a touch panel configuration enabling the effective discharge of static electricity to the outside of the touch panel, including static electricity generated inside the touch panel and static electricity that enters the touch panel after being generated outside the touch panel. A plurality of touch panel portions (11), which are made into touch panels after cutting, are formed on a touch panel parent substrate. The touch panel parent substrate is equipped with: a plurality of electrodes (21, 22) that are provided to each touch panel portion (11); a conductive pattern (14) that is formed outside the touch panel portions (11); and extended portions (24) that are provided at both end sections, in the direction of extension, of each of the plurality of electrodes, and that allow conduction between the electrodes and the conductive pattern.
