Abstract:
Provided are: a touch panel transparent electrode that enables the development of thinner films; a touch panel and display device provided with the touch panel transparent electrode; and a production method for the touch panel transparent electrode. The touch panel transparent electrode is provided with a nitrogen-containing layer, and an electrode layer disposed adjacent to the nitrogen-containing layer. The nitrogen-containing layer is formed by using a compound containing nitrogen atoms at a deposition rate of 0.3 nm/seconds or above. The electrode layer has a thickness of 12 nm or less, which can be measured by sheet resistance, and is constituted by using silver or an alloy composed mainly of silver.
