Abstract:
A touch point positioning method and apparatus, and a terminal device. The method comprises: for each target sub-region in a target region, a touch screen controller conducting parallel scanning on a horizontal channel in the target sub-region, so as to determine a target sub-region having a touch point; determining whether the sub-region having the touch point can be divided; if so, taking the target sub-region having the touch point as the target region; repeatedly performing the step until the target sub-region having the touch point cannot be divided, and determining a horizontal coordinate of the touch point; and determining a longitudinal coordinate corresponding to the touch point according to a longitudinal channel receiving a signal of the horizontal channel in parallel. By means of the present invention, a horizontal coordinate is scanned via parallel multi-channel transmission, and a scanning range is narrowed through iteratively progressive decrease by dividing a target region, so that scanning time can be saved and the point reporting rate is improved, thus improving the user experience.
