Abstract:
A touch screen device supporting coloring on the basis of a touch input and a method for supporting a color input through the touch screen device are disclosed. Embodiments of the present invention use an external data input device for inputting a color, having color input buttons mounted thereto, separately from a touch screen device in order to provide a user with intuition in designating his/her desired color when the user paints a picture using the touch screen device. Therefore, when an infant or child paints a picture, the external data input device can serve as if the external data input device were a palette, and the touch screen device can thus support the infant or child to easily determine his/her desired color through a button input.
