Abstract:
Disclosed are a touch screen electronic device supporting an easy character input through a virtual keyboard and an operating method thereof. The touch screen electronic device and the operating method thereof according to the present invention: can detect a user's intention and determine that a character corresponding to the user' intention has been input on the touch screen electronic device, even though the user fails to accurately apply a touch input on a keypad corresponding to the relevant character in a game, a linguistic learning program, or the like in which a user needs to input characters by utilizing a virtual keyboard, thereby promoting the user's convenience; and when the user inputs a character identical to that displayed on a touch screen, can execute a particular control event, thereby not only entertaining the user but also helping the user to improve his/her linguistic ability.
