Abstract:
Provided is a touch sensor with outstanding electrical connectivity. This touch sensor comprises multiple transparent first electrode patterns and multiple transparent second electrode patterns formed on one surface of a transparent substrate and extending in mutually intersecting directions. The first electrode pattern comprises: multiple first island-structure electrode portions that are formed in a first direction on the substrate and formed with a space separating each; and a first bridge wiring portion formed with an electrical connection between adjacent first island-structure electrode portions. The second electrode pattern comprises multiple second island-structure electrode portions that are formed in a second direction intersecting the first direction on the substrate and formed with a space separating each. A transparent insulating film is formed at least: between adjacent second island-structure electrode portions of the second electrode pattern; and on both margins of said adjacent second island-structure electrode portions. A second bridge wiring portion formed with an electrical connection between the adjacent second island-structure electrode portions of the second electrode pattern is formed as a separate object from the second electrode pattern, said second bridge wiring portion being formed across an interval between a pair of through holes that are provided in the insulating layer on both of the margins.
