Abstract:
The present invention relates to a touch sensor and, more specifically, to a touch sensor comprising: a driving electrode including two or more divided regions electrically isolated from each other, each divided region comprising a first pattern connected in a first direction and a second pattern formed by extending in a second direction from the first pattern; and a reception electrode formed in the second direction on the same plane as the driving electrode, wherein the driving electrode is respectively connected to individual driving channels through driving electrode wires for each divided region so as to detect a touch position for the entire region through a smaller number of channels only. Therefore, the touch sensor can remarkably reduce bezel width, can remarkably reduce a touch recognition time, and can maintain excellent touch sensitivity.
