Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for preparing toughening macromolecular microspheres for adhesives, the method comprising: step I: seed microspheres with uniform particle sizes are prepared by dispersion polymerization, wherein the polymerization temperature is 60-100C, and the polymerization time is 1-24 h; step II: a dispersing agent is uniformly dispersed in an aqueous solution to prepare a dispersion; step III: the seed microspheres are stirred and dispersed in the dispersion prepared in step II to prepare a diluent solution; step IV: a monofunctional monomer is uniformly mixed with a multi-functional cross-linking agent and a radical initiator to prepare a reaction product, the reaction product is dispersed in the dispersion prepared in step II, and the resulting solution is emulsified under ultrasonic stirring for 5-60 min to obtain a swelling emulsion; step V: the swelling emulsion in step IV is added to the diluent solution prepared in step III in batches, with the seed microspheres absorbing the swelling emulsion and growing into microspheres of a target particle size; and step VI: the microspheres of the target particle size obtained in step V are polymerized, centrifuged and washed clean to obtain the toughening macromolecular microspheres for adhesives.
