Abstract:
A tower mounted amplifier, which is used for supporting more frequency bands by means of fewer filters. The tower mounted amplifier comprises: a first port connected to an antenna of a base station and used for performing signal interaction with the antenna; a first band-pass filter, an input end of which is connected to the first port for separating an uplink signal received from the first port to obtain uplink signals of at least two frequency bands; a first amplifier, an input end of which is connected to an output end of the first band-pass filter for amplifying uplink signals, output by the first band-pass filter, of at least two frequency bands; a second band-pass filter, an input end of which is connected to an output end of the first amplifier for receiving the amplified uplink signals, output by the first amplifier, of at least two frequency bands; and a second port connected to an output end of the second band-pass filter and the base station and used for outputting the amplified uplink signals, output by the second band-pass filter, of at least two frequency bands to the base station.
