Abstract:
The present invention relates to a toy block comprising: a body in the middle thereof; first and second couplers connected to the upper and lower portions of the body and having a shape in which the first and second couplers are unfolded from each other; coupling parts formed on end portions of the respective couplers; and magnets provided inside the coupling parts, respectively. As described above, the present invention includes the toy block having an "X" shape (X-block), wherein spherical permanent magnets are placed in the coupling parts formed on the end portions of the toy block. Accordingly, an infant can simply stack or connect individual blocks to directly make a creation or a proposed object and can rotate, rearrange, or combine the blocks, thereby developing spatial perception and developing awareness of geometrical relationships between 3D objects and awareness of relative shapes and sizes of figures and objects, on the basis of logical thinking. In addition, an infant can play with blocks to implement a three-dimensional shape, such as a model or a creation, thereby enhancing creativity.
