Fig. 10 shows a perspective view of the toy in which the sphere 26 is attracted to a magnet 32 (or a ferrous material is the sphere or body is magnetized), such that the magnet or ferrous material attracts the toy 20. In certain embodiments the sphere is hollow and may have a ferrous or magnetic materials imprinted, attached, or embedded in the material that forms the sphere 16 such that the magnet (or ferrous material) attracts the toy 20 with or without touching the toy 20.

Fig. 11 shows a perspective view of the toy 20 in which a magnet 32 (or a ferrous material) causes the body 22 from within the sphere 26 to be actuated and the body 22 is released from within the sphere 26. Thus, the magnet or ferrous material releases a catch or other mechanism that triggers the separation of the hemispheres of the sphere 26, to cause the body 22 to spring from the sphere 26.

Fig. 12 shows a perspective view of the toy 20 in which the sphere 26 further comprises as part of at least one of the hemispheres that form the sphere has a ring 34 that can be integral with one or the other hemisphere to attach a clip 36, key chain, a string, lanyard, or other object that can, e.g., used to identify the toy 20, have a method for carrying the toy or an item that is attached to the toy.

Fig. 13 shows a perspective view of the toy 20 in which the body 22 has been ejected from the inside of the body 22 and the leg is a suction cup.

Pop Ball. Descriptive Toy Function. The present invention also includes a folding toy with a suction cup. This has a retractable mechanism capable of transforming its original compacted form into a new entity, without the need to manipulate its parts or add new parts, whose characteristics are described below according to the drawings that form integral part of this presentation. In this embodiment, the invention includes a hollow sphere (1), provided with a circular hole in the lower end (2) and a vertical section (3) in the lateral diameter, which divides it into two symmetrical caps, and its previous one has an upper hinge (4), formed by two protuberances attached to both caps and a central internal spring, and from the front and rear ends protrude two hollow prismatic protuberances (5), each with a circular ball joint (6) in its interior, of which, the frontal patella is surrounded by a spring, in addition both articulations articulate two cylindrical arms (7) of ascending oblique inclination, whose upper ends converge in two circular ball joints

(8), provided with a radial succession of concave curved notches, from whose lower ends it obtains a portion in the form of a cylindrical body (9) which in its lower part provides a suction cup (10), which is on the outside of the sphere (1) at all times; in such a way that when the sphere (1) receives a blow, the spring of the frontal patella (6) activates the movement of the central housing (11), moving downwards, and the cylindrical arms (7) when they reach the average height, push the caps outwards, determining an opening such that the cylindrical body

(9) can protrude from the lower end of the sphere, and once it has come out, the caps are automatically closed again by means of the spring of the hinge (4), in such a way that once the body is outside, the sphere (1) is constituted in the head of the body (9), and between both constitute an entity different from the initial one.

The suction cup (10) which is located in the lower part of the cylindrical body (9) is located on the outside of the sphere at all times, so that its connection (11) with this lower part of the cylindrical body (9) it has the adequate measurement to the lower orifice of the sphere (2) and not to intervene with the closing or opening of this. As will be apparent to the skilled artisan, a suction cup, openings, magnets, ferrous metal, hook-and-look, adhesive, gum, or other mechanism may be provided on one or more hands, arms, and/or legs that at least temporarily adhere the toy to a surface when the body is ejected from the sphere.

Fig. 14 shows a cross-sectional view of the toy in a compact position of the present invention that shows a body having a suction cup as the feet of the body that allows for temporary adherence to a surface. Fig. 15 shows a cross-sectional view of the toy in a deployed position, showing the internal mechanism that moves the inner body. Fig. 16 shows a perspective view of the toy in a deployed position. Fig. 17 shows a perspective view of the toy in a compact position. Fig. 18 shows a front view of the toy in a compact position with a cross section showing the internal mechanism. Fig. 19 shows a profile view of the toy in a deployed position with a cross section showing the internal mechanism. Fig. 20 shows a profile view of the toy in a compact position with a cross section showing the internal mechanism. Furthermore, compositions of the invention can be used to achieve methods of the invention.

It will be understood that particular embodiments described herein are shown by way of illustration and not as limitations of the invention. The principal features of this invention can be employed in various embodiments without departing from the scope of the invention. Those skilled in the art will recognize, or be able to ascertain using no more than routine experimentation, numerous equivalents to the specific procedures described herein. Such equivalents are considered to be within the scope of this invention and are covered by the claims.

All publications and patent applications mentioned in the specification are indicative of the level of skill of those skilled in the art to which this invention pertains. All publications and patent applications are herein incorporated by reference to the same extent as if each individual publication or patent application was specifically and individually indicated to be incorporated by reference.

The use of the word“a” or“an” when used in conjunction with the term“comprising” in the claims and/or the specification may mean“one,” but it is also consistent with the meaning of “one or more,”“at least one,” and“one or more than one.” The use of the term“or” in the claims is used to mean“and/or” unless explicitly indicated to refer to alternatives only or the alternatives are mutually exclusive, although the disclosure supports a definition that refers to only alternatives and“and/or.” Throughout this application, the term“about” is used to indicate that a value includes the inherent variation of error for the device, the method being employed to determine the value, or the variation that exists among the study subjects.

As used in this specification and claim(s), the words“comprising” (and any form of comprising, such as“comprise” and“comprises”),“having” (and any form of having, such as“have” and “has”), “including” (and any form of including, such as “includes” and “include”) or “containing” (and any form of containing, such as“contains” and“contain”) are inclusive or open-ended and do not exclude additional, unrecited elements or method steps. In embodiments of any of the compositions and methods provided herein,“comprising” may be replaced with “consisting essentially of’ or“consisting of’. As used herein, the phrase“consisting essentially of’ requires the specified integer(s) or steps as well as those that do not materially affect the character or function of the claimed invention. As used herein, the term“consisting” is used to indicate the presence of the recited integer (e.g., a feature, an element, a characteristic, a property, a method/process step or a limitation) or group of integers (e.g., feature(s), element(s), characteristic(s), property (ies), method/process steps or limitation(s)) only.

The term“or combinations thereof’ as used herein refers to all permutations and combinations of the listed items preceding the term.
