Description:
The object of this patent a toy model pertaining to the field of toy industry and to which an original constructive confi guration was given aiming at providing healthy entertainment, particularly for girls.

A trend that has been observed in different kinds of toys is to imprint them with features that in addition to offering leisure, provide children with some type of teaching, even subli- minar, with respect to the topic related to the toy. With a view to such consideration, a toy model was developed which is the object of this patent, which consists in a doll whose abdominal region has a cavity that holds a second, smaller doll imitating a human baby, such cavity being closed by a remo¬ vable lid with a protruding region imitating the shape of the abdomen of a pregnant woman, and with an opposite substantially flat region with the configuration of a non-pregnant abdomen and which, when the cavity is holding the second doll imitating a human baby, is applied to the said cavity with the protruding si¬ de outwards, giving the doll the silhouette of a pregnant woman , and when the doll imitating a human baby is removed from the said cavity, is applied with the said protruding region turned inwards and the substantially flat region turned outwards, giving the doll the silhouette of a non-pregnant woman.

This form of construction of the toy, in addition to giving adequate leisure to the child, provides the child, in a very smooth manner, wi£h teachings related to certain biologic featu¬ res of human beings.

The attached drawings show the toy model which is the object of this patente, where. Figure 1 shows the doll that constitutes the toy in the preg nant condition, with a partial section for better understanding; Figure 2 shows the doll with its separate parts; and Figure 3 shows the doll in the non-pregnant condition. According to what is illustrated in the figures above, the toy model dealt with in this patent is comprised by a doll 1, con sisting in the usual head 2, trunk 3 and upper 4 and lower 5 limbs of any configuration, i.e., accurately reproducing or styling the shape of a woman.

In the present model, trunk 3 region, corresponding to the abdomen, is provided with a broad cavity 6 which holds a second,

smaller doll 7 imitating a human baby, said cavity being closed by a removable lid 8 with a protruding region 9 that imitates the abdomen of a pregnant woman, and an opposit substantially flat region 10 that imitates the abdomen of a non-pregnant woman, and which, when the said second doll imitating a human baby 7 is inside the cavity 6, is applied to the cavity with the said pro¬ truding region 9 turned outwards, and the opposite flat region 10 turned inwards, thus reproducing the silhouette of a pregnant woman, and which, when the doll imitating the human baby 7 is removed from the cavity 6, is applied to the cavity in such a manner that the protruding region 9 is turned inwards, and flat region 10 is turned outwards, thus reproducing the the silhouette of a non-pregnant woman.

Finnally, clothes 11 are foreseen to dress the body of the doll.

Doll 7 is also comprised by a head 12, trunk 13, and upper limbs 14 and lower limbs 15, with the con iguration reproducing normal forms or slightly styled forms of a human baby.

The doll constituting the toy thus constructed may have different sizes, it can be made of adequate usual materials and have different accessories, which best meet the expectations of the consumer market.

Thus, the doll constituting the tou proposed herein is used in such a manner as to initially have the second doll imitating a human baby 7 held in cavity 6, and lid 8 applied so as to close the cavity with the protruding region 9 turned outwards and the flat region 10 turned inwards, giving the doll the silhouette of a pregnant woman (Figure 1).

In the following stage, lid 8 is dettached from cavity 6, the doll imitating a human baby 7 is removed from the said cavity Figure 2 and lid 8 is once again applied to the cavity with the protruding region 9 turned inwards and the opposite flat region is turned outwards, giving the doll the configuration of a non- pregnant woman (Figure 3).
