Abstract:
A track display apparatus displays the tracks of other ships by fine lines on the display screen of a radar equipment such that the tracks can be easily viewed for each of the ships. This invention limits the range of the image of target ships and prevents the accumulation of images caused by noise. The apparatus of the invention comprises a radar for detecting the positions of other ships, radar echo focusing means (33, 34, 35), track storing means (32) for storing the focused positions of other ships in the form of tracks, and display means (27) that displays the content of the track storing means. The apparatus of the invention further displays attributes such as the size and attitude of the image possessed by the radar echo.
