Abstract:
[Problem] To calculate a predicted position with high accuracy. [Solution] A track prediction device 10 comprises an angular velocity calculation unit 30, a horizontal ground speed calculation unit 70, and a predicted position calculation unit 80. The angular velocity calculation unit 30 measures or calculates the angular velocity of a moving body. The horizontal ground speed calculation unit 70 calculates the horizontal ground speed of the moving body on the basis of the attitude angle, the course over ground, and the speed over ground of the moving body. The predicted position calculation unit 80 uses the duration of time from the current time until a future predicted time and the horizontal ground speed to calculate a predicted position for the moving body, using an integration operation for the angular velocity, if the angular velocity exceeds a rotational movement detection threshold value.
