Abstract:
A tracking device (1308) tracks a tracking subject from image data. During the tracking, the tracking device (1308) determines whether the tracking subject is being blocked. Upon determining that the tracking subject is being blocked, the tracking device (1308) detects from the image data a blocking area blocking the tracking subject, sets a search area around the blocking area, and searches for the tracking subject in the set search area.
