Abstract:
The embodiment of the present application provides a tracking photography method and a tracking apparatus for a moving target, the method comprising: first performing in advance extraction of the feature points of a template image corresponding to each camera angle, such that when performing matching, only the feature points of a currently photographed target image need to be calculated; matching the feature points of the target image with the feature points of the template image corresponding to each camera angle; determining the camera angle corresponding to a matched template image as the camera angle of the currently photographed target image; and if the camera angle of the currently photographed target image is inconsistent with a preset camera angle of a target, a tracking apparatus is moved to track and photograph the target, so as to make the camera angle of the target consistent with the preset camera angle of the target. The method significantly reduces the calculations required to detect and match feature points, thereby improving the timeliness of tracking photography.
