Abstract:

An electric motor (5) is connected to drive wheels (2, 2). When a slippage of a drive wheel (2, 2) is detected, the electric motor (5) is caused to produce regenerative torque to suppress the slip of the drive wheel (2, 2). The regenerative torque is variably controlled depending on an index parameter representing road surface conditions. When a slippage of a drive wheel occurs, the slippage is suppressed to be suitable for road surface conditions by regenerative operation of the electric motor connected to the drive wheel.
