Abstract:
A traction elevator having multiple cars running cyclically, and a control method. An upward shaft (1.2) is provided for a car (2) to run upward, and a downward shaft (1.1) is provided for the car (2) to run downward; two vertical rails are communicated with each other by means of rail changing shafts; a rail changing mechanism is provided in each rail changing shaft, and can drive the car (2) to switch between the upward shaft (1.2) and the downward shaft (1.1); each car (2) corresponds to a traction system; a traction rope is connected to the car (2) by means of a hook-off mechanism (3.2); after the car (2) runs to the rail changing shaft, the traction rope is separated from the car (2) by means of the hook-off mechanism (3.2), and rail change is completed under the driving of the rail changing mechanism; then the traction rope is connected to the car (2) by means of the hook-off mechanism (3.2) to continue to run, and so on. By means of function division of the vertical shafts, and by skillfully avoiding conflicts between traction ropes by means of the hook-off mechanism (3.2) during rail change, multiple cars cyclically run in the at least two shafts, and thus, the vertical transportation efficiency of the elevator is improved, and the area occupied by elevator shafts is reduced.
