Abstract:
A tractor for an automatic paper feeder capable of stably tractive-guiding a web paper throughout a complicated paper feed route. The tractor (1) running along the guide rail of the automatic paper feeder disposed along the paper feed route of a rotary press comprises a tightly coiled spring (2), a tubular elastic body (3) forming a connection part (7) to which the web paper is connected, and a non-extensible and flexible core body (4). The core body (4) is inserted into the coiled spring (2) and the tubular elastic body (3), the coiled spring (2) is positioned adjacent to the tubular elastic body (3), and the end parts of the coiled spring (2) and the tubular elastic body (3) on the sides not adjacent to each other are fixed to the core body (4).
