Abstract:
A cellular communication network (10) is configured to perform broadcast distribution of simultaneous transmission information using a downlink physical channel that can be received by a plurality of mobile stations in a standby state. A traffic information server (300) requests the cellular communication network (10) to perform broadcast distribution of traffic information to a distribution area. A communication terminal (200) mounted in an automobile (500) receives, via the cellular communication network (10), traffic information distributed as simultaneous transmission information. This makes it possible to, e.g., provide the latest traffic information to the occupant of the automobile (500) without delay.
