Abstract:
The present invention relates to a technique for determining a traffic lane situation. A traffic lane situation determination device (1A) is provided with: a camera (11) mounted on a vehicle and used for acquiring an image of the road in the travel direction of the vehicle; a straight-line detection unit (141) for extracting a plurality of lines that define traffic lanes on a road from the image and detecting a plurality of straight lines that are approximate to a plurality of lines; a point of intersection specifying unit (142) for specifying a point of intersection of extension lines along which the plurality of straight lines are extended; and a traffic lane situation determination unit (143) for determining the traffic lane situation by comparing the position of the point of intersection and an infinite point set in advance in the image.
