Abstract:
Disclosed in the present application are a traffic limiting method and system. The method comprises: a distributed node sends a service volume within the current preset time period to a central node according to a fixed cycle; the central node determines a decision limit of the distributed node on the basis of the received service volume, and sends the decision limit to the distributed node; the distributed node receives the decision limit sent by the central node; and after receiving an access request, the distributed node determines, on the basis of the latest received decision limit, whether traffic limiting is required for the access request. In the present application, a traffic limiting decision is autonomously determined by a distributed node, so that the decision path is short, and the decision is fast and accurate.
