Abstract:
Disclosed are a traffic monitoring method and device. The method comprises: receiving a traffic monitoring command, and obtaining the network traffic consumed by each background application, wherein the background application is an application program running in background; and outputting a corresponding relationship between an application identifier of the background application and a corresponding network traffic. In the present invention, by receiving a traffic monitoring command, obtaining the network traffic consumed by each background application, and outputting a corresponding relationship between an application identifier of the background application and a corresponding network traffic, the scope of an application program to be viewed is reduced to a background application, and the network traffic consumed by the background application is directly determined according to the corresponding relationship, thereby improving the viewing efficiency.
