Abstract:
Disclosed are a traffic scheduling method and a network processor. The traffic scheduling method comprises: the current scheduling unit in a network processor transmitting a service queue to an upper-level scheduling unit, wherein the priority of the transmitted service queue is unchanged until the service queue is transmitted to the uppermost-level scheduling unit, so that the uppermost-level scheduling unit performs traffic authorization according to the priorities and the traffic requirements of all the service queues, and issues the traffic authorization; and the current scheduling unit performing traffic authorization of the service queue according to the traffic authorization of the upper-level scheduling unit, and the priority and the traffic requirements of the service queue.
