In a traffic signal erection position determination system according to an embodiment of the present invention, an erection position determination means: creates a layout such that the time curve of the end position of a preceding train and the time curve of the head position of a following train have an interval equal to a target time interval; acquires a first time at which the end position of the preceding train is located at the point of a first traffic signal, according to the time curve of the end position of the preceding train; acquires a first position at which the head of the following train will be located at the first time, according to the time curve of the head position of the following train, and also acquires a first speed of the following train according to an operation curve of the following train; acquires a braking curve of the following train travelling at the first position at the first speed, on the basis of track information and train performance information; and determines a second position, at which the speed of the following train will be a prescribed value, to be the position of a second traffic signal to be erected in front of the first traffic signal.
