Abstract:
Provided is a traffic signal recognizing device with which it is possible to ease the restriction on imaging a traffic signal. A traffic signal recognizing device (100) is provided with a processor and a memory. The processor uses the memory to extract a region in which a traffic signal having N lights is shown from an image that is acquired by a sensor and is subject to recognition, the region being extracted as a traffic signal region, and calculates, from the traffic signal region, the level of similarity of a plurality of images in which lights different from each other are shown.
