Abstract:
The present invention relates to a trailer (5) having a frame for lifting, transporting and lowering loads. The trailer is towed by a suitable towing device (such as a vehicle) and comprises a lifting device (1) for lifting and lowering the load. Means compatible with the type and weight of the load are coupled with the lifting device, said means being forks (3) (at least one) in the case of stationary loads (not on wheels), such as boxes, or a plane surface (3) in the case of a moving loads (such as vehicles). The trailer moves in a stable manner because the lifting device is stably secured on a part of the front side of the trailer and wheels are arranged on either side of the trailer. The trailer has a crossbeam (8) (rear bumper) on the rear side, which supports part of the weight of the load once same has been lifted and prepared for travel, and one or more support beams (7) across the width (centre) inside the trailer, such that same are below the load when locked, supporting part of the weight of the load and distributing the weight over parts of the trailer. The trailer is provided with a lifting jack (2) installed on support points of the trailer to stabilize same during the lifting and lowering of the load.
