Abstract:
A train approach prediction device (20) that constitutes a train approach prediction system (70) together with a wireless train approach warning system (10) is provided with: a digital train warning signal reception unit (21) which receives a digital train warning signal from the wireless train approach warning system (10), and extracts train information; a location information acquisition unit (22) which acquires location information of the train approach prediction device (20); an approach detection unit (23) which detects an approach of a train on the basis of the train information and the location information of the train approach prediction device (20); an approach prediction message generation unit (24) which generates an approach prediction message when an approach of a train is detected by the approach detection unit (23); a short-range wireless transmission unit (25) which wirelessly notifies of the approach prediction message via short-range radio; and a parameter setting unit (26) which sets parameters for the train approach detection processing by the approach detection unit (23) and the wireless notification processing of the approach prediction message by the short-range wireless transmission unit (25).
