Abstract:
A train control device according to an embodiment of the present invention is provided with a storage unit, a detecting unit, a deceleration ratio calculating unit, an adjusting unit, and a control command calculating unit. The storage unit stores deceleration information indicating train deceleration when brakes are applied in accordance with a brake command. The detecting unit detects the speed of the train. The deceleration ratio calculating unit calculates a degree of deceleration indicating the difference between the deceleration indicated by the deceleration information and the actual deceleration of the train, on the basis of an amount of reduction in the speed of the train as detected by the detecting unit during a prescribed time period while the brakes are being applied in accordance with the brake command, and a value obtained by integrating the deceleration indicated by the deceleration information corresponding to the brake command for the prescribed time period. The adjusting unit adjusts the deceleration information to be used when calculating the brake command, in accordance with the degree of deceleration calculated by the deceleration ratio calculating unit. The control command calculating unit calculates the train brake command such that the train stops at a target position, on the basis of the deceleration information, and the position and speed of the train.
