Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a train control system and a train control apparatus that can prevent generation of unnecessary acceleration/deceleration while maintaining a minimum distance between a preceding train and a following train. In a train control system that generates brake patterns (103, 103') enabling a stop before a preceding train (101a) ahead by one train and controls a following train (101b) so as not to exceed the generated brake patterns, there is provided an acceleration/deceleration degree calculation unit (203) that calculates an acceleration/deceleration degree used for speed control of the following train (101b) using a train speed of the preceding train (101a), a train speed of the following train (101b), and a deceleration degree of the brake patterns of the following train (101b) when the following train (101b) is approaching the brake patterns.
