Abstract:
A train control system is constructed with which it is possible to reduce speed at an early timing when the time required for warning is insufficient, and to pass through a rail crossing at a high speed while ensuring warning time. An acceleration pattern is prepared for reaching the rail crossing at a planned speed Vm, which is envisioned as the speed for passing through the rail crossing, and the time Ta (vi) until reaching the rail crossing by accelerating based on each speed Vi in the acceleration pattern, and the distance L1 (vi) to the rail crossing, are calculated for each speed. The speed of the train is controlled so that the acceleration pattern is reached at a speed V while satisfying the condition that the required remaining warning time ≤ Ta (v) for the current speed V of the train, and after reaching the acceleration pattern, acceleration is performed according to the acceleration pattern, whereby the rail crossing is passed at the planned speed Vm.
