Abstract:
Provided is a technology in which, when an object (obstacle) that hinders a train from traveling on a track, such as a falling object, a fallen tree, an overhead line vinyl, or invasion of a person or an animal, is detected, or when a problem with traveling, for example, a failure of various devices on the train is detected, a notification of the detected result is provided to a ground side and an operation mode is controlled as necessary. The operation mode of the train is controlled depending on whether an obstacle or a problem hinders a train from traveling on a track, and for example, the control command is given to automatically switch the operation mode from the automatic mode to the manual mode or stop the operation, when an obstacle is detected.
