Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of efficiently reporting important information corresponding to a state of a train with respect to a station platform. This train driving support device comprises a person position determining unit for determining a positional relationship between a person on a station platform and a train, using an imaging result from a camera having an imaging range that includes the vicinity of a side surface of the train, an event detecting unit for using the imaging result obtained by the camera to detect an event to be reported to an observer, an identifying unit for identifying a state of the train with respect to the station platform, and a display control unit for reporting information relating to the positional relationship of the person and/or the event to the observer by displaying and outputting the same to a predetermined display device, wherein the display control unit selects an item to be displayed and output, and/or a display mode, on the basis of an identification result obtained by the identifying unit.
