Abstract:
A train positioning method, comprising: a balise transmission module (BTM) (410) periodically transmits balise data to a vehicle on-board controller (VOBC) (420) according to a preset rule, the balise data comprising identification information of a balise; the VOBC (420) periodically receives the balise data transmitted by the BTM (410), and at the same time, periodically acquires a data frame, the data frame comprising the current travel time, current travel speed, and current travel distance of a train; and according to the received balise data and the acquired data frame, the VOBC (420) determines the position of the train when passing a balise center point. Further provided is a train positioning system comprising the BTM (410) and the VOBC (420).
