Abstract:
This train security system is provided with: a control device 6 for controlling the movement of a vehicle 8 on the basis of a block zone and the on-rail position X of the vehicle 8 in the block zone; a first device 1 for detecting at least one of the rotations of a wheel 4 and the axle of the wheel 4 and outputting the detected rotation to the control device 6 as a first detection value P1; and a second device 2 for inputting second detection values P2, P3 obtained by detecting the movement state of the vehicle 8 to the control device 6. The control device 6 calculates the speed V of the vehicle 8 on the basis of the first detection value P1, calculates the movement distance L of the vehicle 8 on the basis of the speed V, calculates the on-rail position X of the vehicle 8 on the basis of the movement distance L, detects the sliding or idling of the wheel 4 on the basis of the first detection value P1, and, if such the sliding or idling is detected, corrects the speed V of the vehicle 8 on the basis of the second detection values P2, P3 during the sliding or idling.
