Abstract:
Provided are a training device and a training method with which it is possible for a user to learn to perform a tune while acquiring a sense of rhythm. A plurality of display part columns are provided corresponding to a plurality of keys respectively designating a plurality of pitches. The display part columns include a plurality of levels of display part. Tune data is acquired by a tune data acquisition part 91. Rhythm units of the acquired tune data are decided by a rhythm unit deciding part 97. Playback of the acquired tune data is initiated by a playback initiation part 98. After tune data playback is initiated, from a timepoint preceding the timepoint at which the keys corresponding to the display part columns are to be operated until the timepoint at which the keys are to be operated, the display states of the plurality of display parts of the display part columns are changed sequentially by a display control part 99 with each decided rhythm unit, in a direction from the level farthest from the corresponding key toward the level nearest to the corresponding key.
