Abstract:
A training instrument for reinforcing mainly the muscular strengths of an upper limb and a trunk and suitable, particularly, for the training of Judo. The training instrument is characterized by comprising a bar (2) longer than the width of the shoulder of a trainee, a pressingly operating part (3) rotatably fitted to the intermediate part of the bar (2) through a rotating shaft (7) orthogonal to the bar (2) and formed so that the trainee can operate it by holding both side portions of the rotating shaft (7) by hands, and a load providing means (14) providing a load against the pressing force given to the bar (2) through the pressingly operating part (3) to both ends of the bar (2).
