Title:
TRANSCRANIAL MAGNETIC STIMULATION HEAD FIXING TOOL AND TRANSCRANIAL MAGNETIC STIMULATOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2007/123147
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A transcranial magnetic stimulator is characterized in that it comprises a head fixing tool having fixing means for detachably fixing magnetic field producing means, covering the head of a subject, and fitted to the unique head shape of the subject and secured, the density maximum point of the current induced by the magnetic field produced by the magnetic field producing means is steadily present at a target spot having a individually different diameter of 10 mm or less inside the skull by fixing the magnetic field producing means to the fixing means, and the relative position of the magnetic field producing means to the head of the subject is constantly so held that the direction of the magnetic field produced by the magnetic field producing means and the direction of the target spot are in a given relation.
